Director | Senior Speech Pathologist
MELANIE
Melanie is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and a Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Hearing & Language Sciences from Macquarie University. With over 5 years of experience across disability, private practice, and aged care, Melanie is passionate about delivering community-based speech therapy services tailored to each client’s unique needs and strengths.
Melanie’s approach is client-centred, supportive, and affirming, with a special interest in working with individuals with communication difficulties, speech sound disorders, and neurodiverse clients. She strongly believes in creating therapy that is both meaningful and empowering.
In addition to her academic background, Melanie has undertaken specialised training in LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning), PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), Affirming Communication for Autistic Children, DDS/DMSS Certification and "Which phonological intervention should I choose?".
Committed to making a positive difference, Melanie leads Sweet Speech Pathways with kindness, patience, and a deep dedication to helping clients achieve their communication goals. She is a proud member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Allied Health Assistant
RACQUEL
Racquel is an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) with a background as an early childhood educator. With over a year of experience supporting children in speech therapy, she brings warmth, creativity, and a playful approach to every session.
Currently completing her Speech Pathology degree, Racquel is passionate about helping children learn and grow through engaging, strength-based activities.
Her sessions are fun, supportive, and tailored to each child’s unique interests—whether that’s through games, books, or imaginative play. Racquel is bubbly, compassionate, and dedicated to making therapy a positive experience where every child can shine.
Outside of work, Racquel loves camping and has even experienced a helicopter ride over Uluru during her travels to the Northern Territory. She is excited to continue building her skills and supporting children and families as part of the Sweet Speech Pathways team.

Speech Pathologist
Fatima
Fatima is a Speech Pathologist who is passionate about building meaningful connections with children and celebrating their progress every step of the way. She finds great joy in watching her clients grow in confidence and communication, and is dedicated to creating sessions that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths.
With a focus on providing high-quality, evidence-based care, Fatima’s approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming. She believes that therapy works best when it’s fun and personalised, helping children feel empowered and proud of their achievements.
Fatima has a particular interest in supporting children with communication and language difficulties and takes the time to understand each child’s individual needs and goals. Her sessions often include play, creativity, and laughter, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and motivated to learn.
Outside of work, Fatima enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves learning about different cultures and languages.
